With a solid foundation in psychology and psychoanalysis, my career has spanned over two decades of clinical practice, research, and teaching across multiple countries and institutions. This journey has equipped me with a diverse skill set and a global perspective, which I bring to my work with patients and students alike.

 

EDUCATION

I hold a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research in New York, earned in 2006. Prior to that, I completed my M.A. in Psychology at the same institution in 2001.

My foundational training includes a Licenciatura en Psicología (Degree in Psychology with a Clinical Orientation) from Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, awarded in 1995. I completed my secondary education at Belgrano Day School, Buenos Aires, in 1987.

CLINICAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

In terms of clinical training and experience, I have been in private practice specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis since 1996. I am a certified psychoanalyst with the Asociación Psicoanalítica Argentina (A.P.A.) in Buenos Aires, a credential I achieved in 2013.

My clinical experience also includes working as a psychotherapist at the Western Queen Consultation Center in Queens, New York, from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, I completed a clinical externship at the Instituto de Investigaciones Médicas Alfredo Lanari, School of Medicine, Universidad de Buenos Aires, between 1996 and 1998.

TEACHING Graduate Level

My teaching experience spans several institutions and countries. At the graduate level, I have served as a visiting professor at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina, where I taught in the Maestría en Estudios Interdisciplinarios del Sujeto y la Subjetividad (M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies of the Subject and Subjectivity) program, specifically in the seminar “Seminario de Perspectivas Psicoanalíticas y Psicológicas del Sujeto y de la Subjetividad,” in 2012 and 2021.

I have also taught at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico, presenting a seminar on “Psicoanálisis y la Intersubjetividad” (Psychoanalysis and Intersubjectivity) in 2010, and at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in Argentina, where I led a seminar on “Intersubjetividad y Psicoanálisis Contemporáneo” (Intersubjectivity and Contemporary Psychoanalysis) as part of their Doctorado en Psicología (Ph.D. in Psychology) program in 2007.

Additionally, I was a visiting professor at the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales in Argentina, conducting a seminar on “Subjetividad e Intersubjetividad” (Subjectivity and Intersubjectivity) in the same year.

At the undergraduate level, I have held several chair professorships. Since 2010, I have been teaching “Producciones Culturales y Subjetividad” (Cultural Productions and Subjectivity) at Universidad de Belgrano (UB) in Argentina.

At the Universidad del Salvador (USAL) in Argentina, I have been the chair professor for “Técnicas Psicoterapéuticas I” (Psychotherapeutic Techniques I) since 2014, and for “Psicología de la Interacción Social y de los Pequeños Grupos” (Psychology of Social Interaction and Small Groups) since 2002. I also served as an adjunct professor for “Introduction to Psychology” at Lincoln College – Universidad Nacional de San Martín in Argentina in 2006.
